Milex Limited Warranties
Your newly installed brake friction material (pads and shoes) has a lifetime warranty against defects for as long as you, the original purchaser, own the vehicle serviced.
Labor on the friction material is warranted from the original date of service, for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
All additional brake parts and services are warranted from the original date of service, for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
TIRES & WHEELS
Anytime tires/wheels are removed customer is responsibility for returning after 50 miles for wheel re-torque
ADDITIONAL PARTS AND SERVICES
All other parts and services**itemized on your receipt are warranted from the original date of service, for a period of 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
The duration of all implied warranties is limited to the duration of the express warranties as stated above.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN REPAIRS ARE REQUIRED UNDER WARRANTY
During the warranty period, in the event of a defect, malfunction or other failure of the products covered not caused by negligence, misuse of any other cause other than normal use and operation, Milex will replace or repair any warranted parts, services and labor without charge to the customer. Other parts, services and labor maybe required at an additional charge to restore the vehicle for safe operation.
When warranty service is requested, this warranty shall not be valid if the customer does not permit Milex to install all necessary parts and/or perform all necessary services needed to restore the vehicle for safe operation or that would allow the warranted part to operate in the manner it was intended.
WHAT YOU MUST DO TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
To obtain warranty service you must have this receipt and present it, along with the vehicle originally serviced, at the time you are requesting warranty repairs. If your receipt is not presented at the time warranty service is requested, you will be charged for any parts that may have been covered under warranty and no refunds will be issued if the receipt is located at a later date.
WHERE YOU CAN OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
You should first return to or contact the Milex facility that performed the service on your vehicle. The address and phone number of this facility is shown on your original invoice. If the Milex facility that performed the original service is not convenient, then contact or visit the closest Milex Complete Auto Care Center offering the warranted service. This warranty is only valid at a Milex Complete Auto Care Center.
WHO MAKES THE WARRANTY
This warranty is made by Milex. It will be honored by all authorized Milex Complete Auto Care Centers offering the warranted service. Milex Complete Auto Care Centers are independently owned and operated franchises.
WHO IS COVERED
This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and motor vehicle identified on this original invoice. It is non-transferable.
This warranty will not apply if the original invoice indicated the customer declined to authorize specific labor, parts, or services required for satisfactory performance and safe operation. This warranty does not apply when corrective action is taken and/or the warranted part is removed by a facility or person other than an authorized Milex Complete Auto Care Center.
This warranty does not cover the cost of additional components and/or services required to restore the vehicle to its proper operation. This warranty does not apply to parts that are not purchased from and/or installed by the original Milex facility.
This warranty does not cover the cost of repairs or replacement of any part that is damaged due to failure of the warranted parts or other consequential damages. This warranty does not cover, including, but no limited to loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of vehicle, towing charges or other incidental or consequential damages.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
Lifetime warranty may not apply to certain vehicles or systems. Check with your authorized Milex center at the time of purchase.
The warranty as stated above constitutes the only warranty offered by or through Milex Complete Auto Care Centers. Any alterations, modification, additions and/or deletions to the terms of this warranty, whether oral or in writing are void and will not be honored by Milex or any authorized Milex Complete Auto Care Center.
